FLYING
GEESE quilt
blocks! How many patterns do you see
that have Flying Geese components? Yet
you may steer away from them based on past experiences. Too big, too small, too much frustration?
Come join Leianne McCallum from Quilters Cupboard
on March 19th for a Zoom class, and learn how to create
this versatile block the WING CLIPPER Way!
But Wait,
There’s More! Learn how to use your Wing
Clipper for even more ideas, with the Pickets and Quickets Technique Sheet by
Studio 180 Design. The “picket fence”
style block is fun to make, and great for borders, sashing, and framing ideas
too. Scrappy or controlled, large or
small, it uses the same Wing Clipper tool for precision and success!
Then, as a
bonus, Leianne will share the Migrating Geese Technique Sheet method of making
geese that zig / zag their way along in whatever size you like. There is a Technique Sheet, also by Studio
180 Design, for sizing and instructions, yet these beauties do not require a
specialty ruler. You’ll be amazed at the
ideas for this block as well.
