Courthouse Steps Workshop

10 am to 2pm

During this class we will be making two “quilt as you go blocks” as well as instruct you how to join them.  You may wish to make extra blocks later to make a bigger piece, eg. table runner, baby quilt, etc..

No. of Participants:  max. 20

Cost:  Free

Fabric requirements to make two 14” squares:

Top:  ½ yard total of fabric.  (you may choose to use your scraps – as long as each strip is 2 inches wide the longest strip will be 14 inches.) The most effective pattern is when light and dark fabrics are used.

Backing:  cut two 16-inch squares

            Batting:  cut two 16-inch squares  


Additional Supplies:

Sewing machine


Rotary cutter

Pins (optional)

Walking Foot
