We have only 3 ladies signed up so far, we would like to see more response to the workshop with a guild of over 150 members we are hoping to see 15-20 workshop enthusiasts.
Jean Humpage and Laura Green have taught in many BOM series and have had a great success in attendance with these yearly classes.  Don`t miss out on another great workshop by these duo quilters. Fun with a new technique what better way to spend a Saturday.

Quilts for Calgary

Are you ready for the new season at the Rouge Valley Quilters' Guild? The RVQG Executive has already met and is working hard to prepare for the first meeting on September 23, 2013. Save the date, and check the Meeting Schedule for the full year's calendar.

What did you do on your summer break? A few RVQG members got together recently and made several quilts to send to Calgary as part of their flood relief program:

Here are Bonnie, Laura, Jean, Tina and Sally with a selection of the 19 quilts they made with fabric and batting donated by Laura and Jean. Donna, Bea and Janet also helped sew the quilts. They were all quilted by Jean and Laura.

Liz and Carole added three quilts from our Quilts from the Heart program:

With another three previously made quilts that were donated, the group was proud to bring 25 quilts in total to the collection point at Country Concessions in Cookstown, ON. They will be accepting quilts there until September 14, 2013, if you would like to donate a quilt as well. Great job, ladies!
