On June 1, 2013, the workshop ladies made a few miniature blocks using freezer paper, the "add a quarter" ruler, and folding techniques to get the same results as traditional paper piecing. You have to look very closely at the picture to see our tiny 2" blocks!
Best of all, we had no paper to pick out! Marnie Hicks was a great instructor who showed us lots of miniature quilts that she made using this technique. Thanks to everyone who came out to our last workshop of the year.
We are still in the planning stages of our workshop schedule for next year. If you have anything you would like to see us do, please drop us a line at firstname.lastname@example.org. Happy sewing!
