Unusual Fabrics?

Have you ever wondered what to do with those panels, patches, stripes and scenics that you see in the quilt shop or have in your stash? Come and see our speaker Patti Carey from Northcott at the General Meeting this Monday. Using a trunk show, Patti will spark your creativity and fill your head with ideas on how to use those unusual fabrics.

Members who have not already done so may pick up their 2012-13 Membership Card at the front desk.  All members are reminded to wear their cards to be eligible for a draw for the door prize.  Guests are also welcome for a $5 fee.

Other things to do at the meeting include:
  • Bring in your completed Block of the Month from last time, and pick up the instructions for the next one.
  • Sign up to make a beautiful quilted Christmas stocking, designed by Moda, at the next Bee Night.
  • Bring your latest completed projects for Show & Tell.
  • Visit the new Historian's Corner on the lower level to view photos from the first days of the guild, and a previous quilt show.
  • Return your Library books, or borrow a new one. Remember, Library books are loaned for one month only.
And of course, remember to bring your mug for coffee or tea downstairs at the break. We look forward to seeing you there!
